wanted: Passionate Experienced Data Lead
We are a crypto data start-up, dedicated to helping people in the crypto market with objective data-driven decision making to build and optimize their long-term portfolio.
We've taken the initial steps: the first iterations of two of our products have been launched, and we have our first users on board. Now, we are in search of a data lead who is eager to help us enhance the foundation of our data, propel our existing products forward, and expand our product portfolio. We're looking for someone who comprehends the essentials of transforming data into a reliable product (version control, robust data pipelines, monitoring, and alerting). Moreover, we value pragmatism in swiftly validating and shipping new ideas.
At the same time, you’ll expand your knowledge and expertise so you can think with us to decide what the best way is to improve our new and existing models and algorithms in order to help our customers to decide how to build and optimize their portfolio.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial-minded person, who has sufficient experience to refine our data storage, processing, and analysis, while creating and executing the roadmap for our current and future products. Someone who enjoys working together on things like performance marketing and appreciates that there is a lot of room for input in shaping our growth strategies.
The start-up is backed by experienced C-level advisors in the field of crypto, data insights, and scaling start-ups. Within the daily team, consisting of a junior data analyst and a performance marketer, there is a lot of energy and ambition. We’re all dedicated to going the extra mile to ensure the success of this start-up.
We are looking for:
An entrepreneurial data analyst with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
We use Google products, so experience with Google Cloud, BigQuery, etc., is required. Proficiency in data visualization is a plus.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or code-based ETL tools.
Ability to evolve alongside a start-up.
Available for 32-36 hours per week, with 2-3 days at our office in the Rotterdam region.
Strong understanding of both the Dutch and English language.
Interest in crypto is a plus.
What will you be doing?
Optimizing the existing data infrastructure (APIs and scrapers).
Guiding and supporting a junior analyst.
Creating, enhancing, and maintaining algorithms and models.
Developing model portfolios and other exciting, valuable products.
